Does Your Mind Support or Sabotage Your Health?

Our minds control so many aspects of our health. Your thinking could be supporting or sabotaging your goals. Which one describes your mind more? Persistence and consistency are crucial in working through our health journey. However, many people struggle with procrastinating to get started or giving up when things get tough. If you're one of those people, you are not alone!! Something is stopping you from believing in yourself. What's really the issue that makes that happen? Do you have fear of failure? Are you comparing yourself with someone else? Are you listening to a false voice telling you, "you can't do it"? I used to be afraid to fail, but not anymore. I've failed many times, and that's exactly what helps me to succeed. Figuring out what works is part of the process. .Be that person who figures out what strategies work for you to succeed and thrive! Start wherever you are, take a risk, get uncomfortable, adapt to change and GROW!


Getting healthy and staying healthy is not easy! Fight the negative thoughts and do everything possible to get it done. Take control of your mind NOW to win, whether you feel like it, think you don't have the time, or believe you need to do it all perfectly. Choose premium fuel for your engines,

and schedule and execute those workouts. A one hour workout is 4% of your day!!! Proper nutrition and fitness will improve all areas of your health so you will feel better mentally, physically and emotionally. Strive to do something better than you did the last time....something small. Cheer yourself on with tiny achievements and move forward from there. Building on all the ways you've moved forward will keep you going. "I can, and I will!" is what I want for your mantra.


Comparing ourselves to others is self-sabotaging. Focus on doing what you can, challenge yourself daily to try a little more, and be proud of what you've accomplished. As unique individuals, we will never be the same as anyone else. Modifying exercises is completely normal to fit our age, skill level, injuries, illnesses and more. Learn to be comfortable with your abilities and your bodies to accept where you are in your fitness journey? Walk into a workout loving what your body can do. and make it as strong as possible.
