Suit up with Daily Armor to Stay Anchored in Good Health

Just as a soldier puts on his armor before battle, I believe we all need to "suit up" daily for a healthy lifestyle! Each piece of "armor" provides protection for our well-being: setting a positive mind, harboring truth in our soul, feeling gratitude in our heart and providing good choices for our body.

Visualizing each piece of armor, and why we need it will remind us to keep it firmly attached to anchor us.

Starting with our core, the strongest part of our body, we must strap our belts filled with truths each day. A strong center of truth, focused on affirming our amazing attributes, will supply confidence in believing in ourselves.

We must guard our hearts with breastplates from weak emotions, excuses, responses and attitudes that will make us fall into unhealthy living,

With peace and love attached to our feet, we will continue to move forward! Aligned with repeated positive actions, we can experience victory, and live loved and free from comparisons, guilt or shame.

Covering our minds with helmets will protect us from negative thinking. We conquer any lies that diminish our confidence and security by being proactive, alert, aware, and on-guard for negative thoughts that could defeat us.

Putting up a shield to stop undesirable habits keeps us committed to our health journey. We stand strong, with our shields firmly in place, and set necessary boundaries.

Finally, we carry a sword for defense when engaging in battles. Slaying our past, we direct our attention on creating new. Focusing on everything good that we are, and being proud of what we've accomplished, we continue with patience and progress.

Things will not always go according to plan, and that's okay! We will all fall at some point. Rising up after the fall, taking action, and continuing on is what matters.

Stand proud, soldier! Protect yourself with your armor. Live free, be bold, take risks and celebrate all of your small wins. When challenges come, you'll be suited up, armed with readiness, offering peace, lighting the way, and leading with truth and love!
