Create Well-Being, Balance & Community with the Four Components of Health

Who are you when no one is watching? Are you driven to search deep inside, and show up with the best version of you? Do you continue to build a healthy and balanced life with community, purpose and imperfect progress?


Many people don't have that drive due to past failures, strongholds, fear, low self-esteem. lack of support, and even laziness. The good news is, we weren't made to go through life alone! We were made for community. The support of a community can provide encouragement with truths, inspiration with uplifting words and power to take action and have faith in the process. This is my desire for our community!


Creating a healthy and balanced life includes four components of health: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. When we lack in one or more areas, our health will suffer. it's important to take steps to fulfill each part of these areas. I admit, some days I do better than others, and it certainly is challenging. However, I've found when I build daily habits, surrounded by positive people, I feel at peace, focused, confident, strong in body and mind, and an overall sense of well-being. Being connected in a community can benefit all areas of health. Giving positive feedback, celebrating accomplishments, praising successes, accepting failures, dealing with past hurts, validating our worth, praying for each other, and spending time to develop relationships result in positive effects. Many times I've had to reset, start over and try again, and that is okay!! With all of these practices, you aren't defeated if you have to start over. You're defeated when you quit!


One of our human downfalls is comparing ourselves to others. This becomes a very lonely and downward spiral. We measure ourselves with that one person or thing that makes us believe what we've done, how we look or how we live is a success or failure. The truth is, we are all unique individuals created in God's image with gifts to share with the world! We find our value not in how we look, what we do or what we possess. Our value is what's inside of us! Learn to find your inner wisdom of what works for your body and no one else. We don't have to measure up to anyone. If we compare, we will live exhausted, confused and afraid, constantly adjusting our efforts to match what we see around us and hoping we don't take a wrong turn that proves disastrous. Instead, let's lift each other up and get rid of the chains of comparison and performance or looks-based acceptance. Acknowledge and honor your individuality and your hard work and progress forward with purpose.


Let's focus on building excellence through our community! Together we can tear down boundaries, conquer strongholds, take power, encourage one another and light the way with love! It's time to wake up our bodies, wake up our minds and wake up our spirits to build, believe and be our best!
